We all love our cars. And in many occasions, we consider our cars to be like a cherished pet or even like a member of our family. Perhaps this is why no matter how many times friends and family may try to persuade us otherwise, we simply fail to see how ugly, cheap or old our car looks. Thus, in celebration of our occasional blind love for a hideous clunker, we’ve round up a list of the weirdest cars on the road. Love them or hate them, you can’t deny that they’re original!
The Kewet Buddy

From Norway, or perhaps from the remains of an explosion involving a normal-sized car, comes the Kewet Buddy. This “widdle” toy-of-a-car does come with the advantage of being electric, but Lord help you if you’re in a car accident with anything bigger than a rabbit or need to get somewhere quickly and require this ride to get up over 50 MPH.
The Blue Creature-Mobile

With headlights-turned-eyeballs, a working fountain and a tropical tut wig on top, this Vancouver spot does get points for originality. The time and effort put into this car needs to be commended, so I’ll call this one wacky, instead of ugly.
The Punk Car

I must admit that I think this one is pretty cool. The graffiti, the street cone mohawk and the matching orange spray-painted hub caps make this ride more wacky than ugly.
The Hot Wheels Bug

Decorated in Hot Wheels, plastic army soldiers and Mardi Gras beads, this car gets an “A” for originality but an “F” for beauty. It’s definitely in the theme of New Orleans and Bourbon St., but outside of the celebratory confines of Louisiana’s biggest party, this car will never be confused with good-looking.
